Merc growled."LET ME GO NOW!!!"she struggled.

Kazama smiled,"Of course."He said as he released her,"It seems Kazemei was unable to kill him anyways."He said softly. "Crysta, i need you to go back to Leaf village, take care of one Naruto Uzumaki...i want him unable to fight or draw upon his demon chackra, but not dead, Do you understand?"

Crysta grinned at Kazama and nodded. "You don't mind if I........poison him, do you? That would make him most.......unable to fight, but it wont kill him....."

"Stop hurting my friends!"Mercury whipped around and punched Kazama.

Kazama caught the punch and turned her wrist, breaking it,"I will do as i see fit."

Mercury screeched in pain and fell to her knees,holding her wrist and growling at Kazama.

Crysta smirked at Mercury. "Don't worry girlie. It will only be excruciatingly for Naruto. Tis a special poison I'm going to use on him. Do have fun with Kazama!" With that she left for the leaf village laughing to herself.

Mercury took out a kunai with her good arm and flung it at Crysta."DIE!"

Crysta side-stepped to avoid the Kunai and disappeared, heading for the leaf village.

Mercury slammed her fist on the ground in anger and shivered violently.

In The Leaf Village

Hinata was sitting under a tree.

Tsunade strolled down the tree near where Hinata was, surrounded by pestering bureaucrats trying to get here signature or aproval on random interests and contracts, she passively batted them aside as she passed Hinata, angry that these pencil pushing idiots were cutting into her casino time.

Hinata watched Tsunade pass by.

Kazama stood sliently for a moment then looked down at Mercury,"Come with me...that arm has to be re-set."

Mercury hissed and scratched his leg.

He sighed and made a handsign,"Body freze technique."He said as he used the jutsu on her,"Stop fighting me girl...I'm trying to keep you alive if possible."

Mercury sat frozen on the ground.Her eyes traveled up to meet his and she looked at him,as if to say,'Ill listen'

He nodded,"Good...I have...'recrutided' you for a purpose other than to further my bloodline...you Mercury will play an important part in the comming battles."He said while carrying her out of the sand village to a nearby river,"Here let me see your arm."He said as he released the Jutsu.

Mercury held her arm protectively.She seemed like a wounded animal.

He made an impatient noise,"If its not treated soon, you will never use that arm again."

she stared at him for a bit,then held out her arm.

He made a small hand sign and picked up a stick,"Here bite on this i have to break the arm again to get it right."\

Merc yelped and climbed a tree quickly."No!!"

He sighed and rolled his eyes,"And you call yourself ninja..."

Merc's eyes flared and she tackled him,putting a kunai to his neck."I AM A NINJA!!My arm will never heal if you break it again!"

The clone dissapeared and Kazama spoke from the tree,"Mercury...as your arm is now...it will not heal, but if i 'break' it again i can set it properly."

Mercury looked up at him and sighed,holding out her arm.

He nodded and made the sign again,"This will hurt for a few seconds...then it should be allright."He said as a green glow surrounded his left hand and using his right hand struck her wrist again with a cracking noise,"Hmmmm."He mumbled as he healed her wrist with his left hand.

Mercury just flinched.There was pain,but she refused to show it.

He nodded once,"there...why didnt you tell me you are like Gaara?"

"Because I didn't want to...And I'm nothing like him...He's so amazing..And I'm just me.."Merc sighed softly.

Kazama frowned and stood up,"You lie...you also control sand, yet you are not jinkurki."

Merc looked up at him."So?"

He though for a moment then sighed,"No mater."

Mercury sighed and sat on the ground,thinking.

Kazama stood for a moment then looked back down at Mercury,"Why did you become a ninja?"

"Because I killed my clan when I was younger and I wanted to put my talents to good use..."

He frowned,"Persoanl gain then?"

"No.I did it out of pure bordom."

Kazama sighed and stood up,"You misguided little pawn."

"I am not a pawn!I am only doing this because you threatened to kill Kakashi sensei!"

Kazama started walking, beckoning Her to follow,"Hmmm...perhaps, but ask your self this...I know you see power within me and my underlings...do you not crave that for yourself? Be honest."

Merc looked away."I've never craved power....It will destroy me if I have to much of it...I like to keep myself at my limits.Now you answer me this...Why do you want me on your side?"

He turned and fixed her with his most pericing gaze,"Because i see in you the potential for limitless power...and a deep desire to prove yourself, you werent goiung to grow to your full potential in that pathetic village i Used to call home."

She stared at him with an equally piercing gaze."I don't want to hurt anyone."

He smiled,"Then what do you call the murder of your clan, for thats what it was...murder."

Merc glared at him and threw a kunai next to his head."Dont talk about it!"

He smiled,"Murderer, that is what you are and all the villagers shall ever see, is it so bad teaming up with me? Just think of the power, the future...My future, would you like to hear my vision?"

Merc covered her eyes."STOP SAING MURDER!!!"She screamed.

He ignored her,"I dream of a world where there are no ninja villages, just one, where all Ninja are united under one banner...no more Village killings, no more Akatsuki, Just one Village for the worl...Tell me is that so bad?"

"The world needs an egual balance of good and evil,death and living.."

He laughed,"You fool...you said anything about Good or evil...Tell me, if your closest friend or even child was caught in a burning building...And the only way to save that peron was to kill an entire clan of innocents...what would you do?"

"I'd kill the innocents...Then the friend or child..."Merc said seriously.

He smiled,"Ah, equality for all Mercury? Intresting answer...now, explain."

"I don't have to explain myself to you...And You can't make me..."

He nodded,"True...you could probaly resist most tourture i could send your way...so I guess you Prefer furthering my bloodline?"

Merc glared at him."I'm not going to further your bloodline,and you still cant make me..."

He smiled wider,"One or the other, or kakashi dies this night...and trust me in his weakened state he is no match for me, nor is he close to any aid for another day or so...so whats it going to be?"

Merc's eyes widened."YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T KILL HIM!"She tackeld him to the ground.

He smiled and threw her off him easily,"Explain yourself, submitt to me or let Kakashi die."

"I'll submitt...Just leave my fellow ninja alone!"

He smiled,"Now as i expect you do not want me within you, explain your eariler answer."

Merc growled."It wouldn't be fair if I killed some with out the equal killing of another..."

He smiled softly,"So you belive the world should be fair?"He paused,"Dont answer yet...we shall continue this later. for now we make camp."

Merc glared at him and started gathering sticks.She put them all together and made handsigns."Fire style.Fireball jutsu!" She blew the fireball at the sticks to create a camp fire.

Kazemei walked slowly into camp with his head held down a few minutes later, his long unkempt hair obscuring his face.
Without greeting Kazama or explaining himself he grabbed Mercury by her wounded arm and hoisted her in the air.


"Where has Kakashi gone?" Kazemei squeezed her wrist hard.

While he waited for a reply, he silently was hoping she'd mention some secret rendevous spot or hiding place, anything but kakashi going straight to the hokage. Now was not the time for an intelligent ninja with a mind for strategy to expose his plan.

I chose Shikimaru because he couldn't say what the leaf village was up against, only to be wary so i could observe their defense, but Kakashi knows our numbers and a good bit of the plan. And he knows me too damn well! Kazemei thought.

"Come on girl! Tell me where he IS!"

Merc screamed in pain and slashed him across the face."I'm not telling!"

Kazemei casually leaned back from the kunai that Kazama hadn't had the prescence of mind to take away from Mercury while Kazama was busy trying to get her to bear his children. In one quick motion with his left hand he took the knife and backhanded her across the face, letting her fall to the ground.

He turned to Kazama and spoke in a low tone.

"Where's Crysta? We have to skip the plan. I think kakashi is headed right back to the leaf village. I don't want to be the one to tell Orochimaru that we're not ready for his little date with Tsunade..."

Kazemei shook his head. "You know what? Forget it!" He ran a nervous hand through his hair, looking back and forth.
"If you want something done right you have to do it yourself!Take care of your new girlfriend here, I've got to go to the leaf village, take care of some things. I think that's precisely where Kakashi has gone."

Once again without allowing suggestions or complaints from Kazama, he left.

Merc was left on the ground,crying softly.She held her face and shivered,crawling over to the fire and curling up

In The Leaf Village

Ino walked up to Hinata,"Hi Hinata,what's up?"

Hinata blinked,"Hi Ino,why are you being so nice,normally you are not nice."

Ino scoffed,"Hey,I can be nice when I want,and I'm trying to be nicer."

Hinata smiled,"Oh,ok then."

Crysta, sitting in the nearest tree to the two girls, grinned at their idiocy. I am officially surrounded by idiots and that stupid kuubi bot still hasn't come back from his last mission. Feh, if only I knew where he was coming from, the I could grab him before he got back. Hmmmm, time to go snooping. Crysta lept from her tree spot to the roofs and was off in a blur to find some information.

Later That Night in the Leaf Village

Shikimaru crossed his arms, watching Neji from across the boardwalk infront of the third hokage's giant head sculpture.

"You know, I mean, this was just a hunch and all, I suppose we could call it a night." he said.

"I believed you when you said there would be an attack tonight. If you're that lazy, Shikimaru, you can go to bed."
The veins around Neji's forehead bulged outward as he used his Byakugan to watch the streets and forested parks of the village.

Shikimaru sat through an awkward silence leaning against the railing.
"I know that guy meant business. He was bad news, what with the Itachi wannabe headband, he said soon, it's been three days, but...ugh, what a drag."

A few minutes later, while Shikimaru was cleaning dirt out from underneath his nails with a pine needle, Neji shifted.

"Shikimaru...What did your attacker look like?"

"I dunno, He was wearing a large grey cloak and he hunched over, acting like a hermit, but when he-"

"Look over there with your scope," Neji pointed down to the red light district area of the village, "Between the bar and the betting shop, is that him?"

Shikimaru nodded, putting down his collapsable scope.

"Let's go say hello."


As the sun just began to descend past Hokage mountain, Kazemei walked slowly past the casino, past a closed noodle stand and turned into the same cemetary he met Shikimaru in earlier in the week. Today he was there for a different reason.

Kazemei sat down next to a small unadorned headstone near the back corner of the large graveyard. he faced the same direction as the front of the stone, leaning against it.

"You know, I still don't feel guilty at all," He closed his eyes, unable to ignore the after effects of the mind imprisoning jutsu Kakashi had used on him just a few hours ago.

"You weren't worthless, Oni... Just in my way, and you were just the firstto find out what happens to people in my way."

NO! Are you crazy?! Why would I help you kill Kakashi? We can always try to pass next year! Besides, nobody believes you, Jurai. You just made that bell! why won't you admit it? 

"I never lied before. If it wasn't for you, I never would have learned how to lie. Such a stupid little girl you were, so naive, so blind. Still, I haven't stopped wondering, if maybe things would have been different if I hadn't-AH"

"Got you now!" Shikimaru stood up from behind a much larger stone and, unwillingly, Kazemei also stood up.

Shikimaru put both hands high up over his head, and Kazemei, unable to fight the shadow possesion jutsu, did the same.

"Damn! How did you know?" Kazemei gritted his teeth and growled.

"Oh about the sword? I just guessed is all. it seemed logical that that was the only reason you could cross my shadow, hahaha." Shikimaru smiled. "Ready Neji?"

Neji stepped out right in front of Kazemei and cocked his fist back. "On three, Shikimaru, ready?"

Shikimaru nodded, "ready!"

In unison Neji and Shikimaru shouted "THREE!"

Neji let loose a flurry of chakra strikes. shikimaru released Kazemei from the possesion and immediately drew two kunai.

Kazemei immediately flailed out sideways, and three punishing fingerpoint strikes that would have severed vital chakra points across his ribs struck up the side of his left arm.
Kazemei then backflipped while shouting
"Speed Enhancement Jutsu!"

Neji only had time to gasp as Kazemei went from slow motion to full speed in his Byakugan perception, vaulting over him as he drew his wooden sword.

Shikimaru, with his normal sight, only saw what appeared to be a line of 25 or 30 Kazemei's forming a bridge-like arch over Neji. He blinked once, and Kazemei was in front of him. Shikimaru slashed out with his kunai, and his knife passed right through Kazemei's form, as another image stepped once to the right and jabbed the point of the Shiro Nasutto right at shiki's head.

Reflexively, Shikimaru leaned full backward, and the wooden sword, which blade was totally blunt, slid across his forehead between his eyes.

"Ah!" Shikimaru clumsily hit the ground.

But Neji didn't suffer from the illusions of Kazemei's jutsu.
He darted foreward as Kazemei stopped moving for less than a hundredth of a second to strike Shikimaru.
As Kazemei started to move again, Neji had just enough time to reach out and strike Kazemei's back just below the left shoulderblade.

Kazemei cried out and somersaulted foreward past and behind shikimaru and in a cloud of smoke suddenly dissapeared.

"Shikimaru, he's still here, but I can't quite see him, he's somehow shielding his chakra..." Neji glanced down at his comrade.

"What a drag!" Shikimaru didn't get up, he was in a half lying down-half sitting position, his hand pressed to his forehead. He mumbled something inbetween cursewords.

"What's wrong with you lame brain? Get up!" neji backed closer to Shikimaru.

"I said I can't see! he blinded me!"

"Shiro Nasutto Change to Black!!"
Kazemei flashed in like a blur, now harder for neji to see in the growing dusk. The wooden blade came down, now emitting an odd dark bruise colored glow instead of it's usual white-grey glow. Neji slapped it away, feeling way more chakra flow out of his hand than he had meant to emit with his Gentle Fist.

Kazemei darted back behind a row of gravestones, once again unexplainedly fading from Neji's Byakugan vision.

"Just keep your shadow in a big circle around you!"
Neji stood inside of Shikimaru's shadow, which did not affect him. Neither of the jounin were sure if Shikimaru's shadow jutsu would work anymore anyhow.

Kazemei leaped over the two three times in quick succession, each time neji slapped his blade strikes away. Kazemei's sword, which name meant 'White Thief', now was dark purple, and each time it touched Neji's hand, Neji felt more of his strength sapped out of his body.

"Neji! Remember our chess game this morning?" Shikimaru said.

"Now is hardly the time to brag about that, Shikimaru!" Neji reared back and pushed aside another of Kazemei's attacks.

"No! Neji, imagine a chess board with each square three feet by three feet on the ground, with us standing on grid E4!"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Neji leaned out of the way of another slash. Kazemei was getting harder and harder to see.

"Just visualize the board on the ground with us standing on E4!" Shikimaru stayed kneeling behind Neji.
"everytime you think he might be moving a little slower, yell out the square he's on and I'll try to nab him!"

"...Shikimaru, you're a genius!" Neji drew deeper into his chakra pool, renewing his strength. He wasn't too tired to fight just yet.

Kazemei came dashing in. Neji rushed to meet him, firing a knuckle punch low at Kazemei's stomach.

Kazemei stopped and blocked the punch.

"C5!" Neji shouted, And a tentacle of shadow that moved across wisps of smoke from kazemei's earlier smokebomb diversion reached out at Kazemei.

Kazemei leaped back, holding his left arm close to his chest as he did so. Thanks to Neji, Kazemei's jump leaned just a bit to the right because of his injured left arm, and Neji was just able to hit the side of his ankle as he leapt away.

"Excellent," neji said, "get ready nara, he's coming again!"

Kazemei leapt in again, slower than before, faster still than the naked eye, but at an easily predictable speed for Neji's Byakugan.

Neji leaped foreward in a high risk move, throwing himself at kazemei as if to tackle him, at the same time shouting
"G6!!!"

A shadow tentacle leapt up, mriaculously seizing Kazemei's right wrist.

Shikimaru's Shadow Jutsu failed to freeze Kazemei in place but as it continued moving foreward it moved kazemei's right hand with it. Kazemei's arm was hanging useless at his side, and his right arm holding his sword was drawn away from his body just for a fraction of second.

It was all Neji needed.

"Two palms! four palms! 8 palms!"

KAzemei gasped as his body shook like he was getting shot by a high calibur machine gun.

"Sixteen Palms!" Neji slammed fist after fist into Kazemei.

"Nasutto RELEASE!" Kazemei barely was able to say, but on command his sword, of sacred wood still clasped in his hand,performed that very justsu.

All of the chakra the Shiro Nasutto had been able to draw in from Neji's gentle fist attacks erupted back out of it, sending both Neji and Kazemei flying backwards in a short but blinding explosion of white blue chakra.

Hinata ran up with Ino right behind her,"What's going on?"she said looking around at Neji and Kazemi.

Crysta appeared directly behind the two girls and smiled in utter glee. "Well now isn't that just the funniest thing you ever did see; the two brats actually beat him. Bet he's in a grand mood now." Before Ino or Hinata could react Crysta jabbed them in their backs, hitting the special nerve that could render a person paralyzed if hit hard enough. "You kids are too annoying." She walked over and looked down at Kazemi. "Out of curiousity; why is Kakashi coming towards the village right now?"

Hinata fell to the ground and groaned in pain.

Ino screeched in pain and fell to the ground.

Kazemei got very slowly to his feet, leaning to the side with his left arm hanging loose at his side. His right arm looked worse, with his entire right sleeve blasted off his arm and in tatters.

Neji was unconciouss on the ground.

"Crysta?" Kazemei just noticed as he slowly regained full consciousness.

"crysta you idiot, look out!" Kazemei moved out of the way just and time, but Crysta had talked long enough that he was able to pinpoint her position and seize her with his shadow possession.

"Ino, Hinata, get them!" Shikimaru shouted.

Crysta felt the shadow possession jutsu take hold of her and laughed crazily. "Ahahahaha, simply delightful! The idiots can fight back! Oh this is terribly grand!"

Back at the camp with Kazama he stiffend suddenly,"Mercury, if you will excuse me for a moment and forgive me, i must restrain you."He made a hand sign,"Ninja art, binding shadow jutsu permanet style, Now I must leave...Art of teleportation."

In leaf village kazama appeared as Crysta made her insane shout and he glanced around,"Hmmm...Kazemei is down, crysta is in bloodlust...The opponest are a Yamanaka, Two Hyugga's and my dear cousin Shikamaru...not a problem."

Merc was still on the ground.She shook though the jutsu was still upon her

Crysta grinned when she spotted Kazama. "Oh why hello! Have you come to join the fun?" She laughed again and looked over at Shikamaru. "You, dear boy, are interupting my plans. I shall kill you and use your skin as a rug."

Kazama looked at her sharply,"Crysta, You will refrain from letting your bloodlust get out of control..."

Kazemei got fully to his feet. he surveyed the situation and growled in frustration.
Seven Ninja's all fighting in one spot, here in the village. I'd say we have about 45 seconds until the damned special forces crawl out of the freaking woodwork, lightning rains from the sky, pigs fly and all hell else that could go wrong with this plan WILL happen...

Kazemei limped over to Kazama.
"Get the hell out of here, let Crysta do whatever she likes, I'd say that every ninja in the village will be here in less than a minute, and I'm not going to be here when that happens!"

Kazemei took a moment to curse the ill timing of this event.

"Go back to that camp you made and get your new girl toy to tell you where the hell Kakashi is. As far as i know he's not here. I want-"

Kazemei was unable to finish his sentance, as out of nowhere two ninja's with bad hair cuts, catapillar eyebrows and tard-happy grins karate kicked Kazemei and Kazama to the ground.

"DRAMATIC ENTRY!" Guy sensei and Rock Lee Shouted in unison.

Kazemei hit the ground and after sliding for about fifteen feet on the back of his head managed to recover his fall.

"Damnit, we have no choice but to fight, then!!" he said, taking a defensive stance with his sword held in his one still functional arm.

Lee helped Shikimaru to his feet as Guy sensei shook Neji back awake.

"Shikimaru, can you still fight?" Rock Lee asked.

"I got blinded, but you know, I think I can see just well enough to tell which amorphous blob is which!" Shikimaru smiled, now confident that his now outnumbered enemy could be beaten.

Guy sensei approached Kazama.

"So, trying to stir up trouble in my town, huh?" Guy sensei flashed one of his trademark sparkly smiles.
"Well, get ready, because I'm not just another pretty face, I'm the sheriff in this town, and I'm ready to rustle up some banditos, oh yeah" Guy sensei extended his arm and gave Lee a thumbs up.

Kazama didnt wait for Guy to look back at him, with a single swift motion he back handed guy as hard as he could then turned to Kazemei,"Get your ass back to camp, me and crysta will follow...thats an order!"He yelled as he turned to Lee,"As for you...SHADOW BIND JUTSU!

Ino jumped infront of Lee and got hit with the Shadow Bind Jutsu.

"Since when do I take orders from you?" Kazemei growled.

Not that he could obey that order. Lee, taking advantage of Ino's sacrifice, circled around behind Kazemei.

Neji got beside Lee and called out to Shikimaru.

"Don't worry, Shikimaru, we got these two. Just concentrate on keeping a hold on miss murder over there."

Guy sensei had been knocked off his feet by Kazama's backhand.
However, He got right back up.

"That's a great fist you got there kid!" Guy wiped a small trickle of blood from his lips. "Try mine!"
Guy sensei moved like a blur, Punching Kazama in the stomach before whirling behind him and using a low leg kick to sweep kazama's legs out from underneath him.

"You know, Neji, You just got lucky!" Kazemei grinned, willing his body back into a fighting stance.

"So you know our names, huh" Neji also got into his classic palms out stance.

"You're in no condition to fight," Rock Lee placed one hand behind his back "You should surrender, theres no need for anymore senseless violence." Lee held his other hand outward towards his opponant as if to say I hope you decide otherwise

"I got more fight left in my little finger than whats needed to kill the two of you!" Kazemei's left hand moved between four complex single handed signs as he shouted "Kouyou Jinsoku TWO!"

Neji's Eyes widened in disbelief. He hadn't even blinked and the next signal his eyes sent to his brain was the image of Rock Lee standing in front of him, catching Kazemei by the wrist.

They're both...Faster than my Byakugan can see???

Kazemei blinked in surprise.

"You can't be...That fast...?"

Lee looked up, his long hair falling away from his face, revealing glossy bloodshot eyes surrounded by a red face complete with bulging veins.

"Guy Sensei recomended I take you seriously...SO I SHALL!!"

Lee whirled and Kicked Kazemei hard enough that he went right through a concrete gravestone ten feet behind him.

Crysta, still unable to move, started humming to herself. Then she muttered to herself "Ya know, someone is bound to be thrown into Shikimaru sometime soon........I hope it happens really soon......this is not very comfortable.......I need a pillow....."

Kazama was sent flying into a building but came charging right back,"Nice...you hurt Ino there...I'll release her she seems out cold...now Guy...show me your true lotus...It'll be fun."He said softly as he pulled out a scroll that once belonged to Chiyo,"Forgive me elder chiyo...Now, FORBIDDEN PUPPET ART: 10 PUPPETS OF ASIGH!"HE yelled as he unrolled the scroll and ten puppets appeared,"The castle destroyers."

Ino was lying on the ground.

"You know, I think these puppets of yours would make excellent training dummies for Lee." Guy chuckled.

"Lee, take care of these-"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!"
Kazemei stood over Shikimaru, his blade held point down over his head. Half of his face was drenched in blood from a cut on the top of his head.

"Kazama, put your toys away, we've screwed around enough here."

Lee stepped foreward, ready to attack Kazemei.

"I underestimated you once! It won't happen again! You come at me, Shikimaru dies!"

Neji saw with his byakugan that behind him, Crysta had visably moved, jerked suddenly, and Shikimaru hadn't moved.

I see... Shikimaru just keeps up with the surprises!

"Lee, Kill him." Neji said.

"But-"

"Trust me, do it!"

Lee charged at an insane speed at kazemei.

Kazemei brought his blade down and severed Shikimaru's head...

But it was just a broken chunk of a headstone.

"DAMNIT!" Just in time, Kazemei sliced upwards, and Rock Lee dove sideways, dodging the blade and going past Kazemei.

Simultaineously Guy Sensei, Neji, and Shikimaru, who leaped out from behind a large ornate grave, attacked Kazama's puppets head on.

Kazemei noticed with his ability to see chakra That Crysta had momentarily been freed.

"Quick, Crysta!" In mid sentance he ducked a flurry of kicks from Lee and rolled towards her.

"I've lost too much chakra to take this geek alone!" Kazemei barely blocked a high kick from Lee that knocked him to the ground despite being blocked.


Kazama cursed,"Damnit!"HE yelled as he used one had to use his puppets and with his other throw a few exploding kunai towards Kazemei's attackers,"Kazemei! Fire in the hole!"

Crysta snapped out of the weakened possession jutsu and laughed "wahahahaha! let me help with this!" Crysta's fingers went flying and she placed her hand on the ground, which started to freeze. The ice spread from her hand towards the enemies and froze their feet to the ground. "ha! even if you break that you're going to have a fun time moving around without falling!" With that she ran for Kazama and Kazemei.

Merc focused her chakra and broke the jutsu.She got up weakly and started walking."KAKASHI!"

Guy and Lee saw the ice spreading and leapt up in time, neji and shikamaru wernt so lucky,"Damnit!"Shikamaru cursed as he tried to free himself.

"Need some help?"Guy yelled from the air as he landed a devastating kick on the ice, shattering it,"It'll take more than ice to beat us!"

Kazama Cursed as the last puppet was destroyed,"Damn...Kazemei I belive a speedy retreat would be in order...If you still can draw a bit of my Energy to fuel your speed, Crysta...Follow now. Thats an order!"

"Okidokie el capitan!" Crysta frowned as she saw her ice being shattered and muttered 'how rude' before running after Kazama. "He can also use some of my energy since i really didn't fight back there."

Kazemei frowned and cracked his neck, rolling his shoulder and stretching his arm.

"Neji's inferior method of severing chakra can't hurt me, only slow me down.." Kazemei growling.

Kazemei grabbed Crysta by her arm and grabbed Kazama by his collor and used a teleportation Jutsu to take them a few miles outside of the sand village.

Upon landing an exhausted Kazemei pulled Kazama close to his face and grwled low.

"First of all, were partners, you twit!.I don't want you ordering me around in battle like that again! And nextly, Your're going to be the one to explain this to Orochimaru! You're gonna tell him why we didn't kill Kakashi and Tsunade and the entire village knows our faces!"

"Oooooh, that's going to be unpleasant from what I hear of Orochimaru.....Good luck with that!" Crysta looked around for a moment. "By the way, where'd that Merc girl go?"

Kazama snarled and threw kazemei off him,"Well next time dont take on the village by yourself...BAKA!"

"For your information I was on... A bit of a vacation, but I forgot about your nosy little cousin who might have been looking out for me. my bad there, But I had those two finished until you two showed up and made a grand show of things. There are stealthier more NINJA WORTHY ways to quiet a pair of weaklings like them."

Merc transported herself to a cave."Kakashi!!Where are you!?"

"Mercury?" Kakashi Came from the shadows in the back of the deep desert cave. He had already bandaged his wounds and appeared to be fine.

As Mercury came foreward, Kakashi saw immediately what had happened to her.

"Oh, my, this will never do. Mercury, we have to get that seal off your Chakra immediately..."

Merc smiled weakly."Its okay Kakashi dude."She sighed softly."We need to make up a plan to escape."

Kakashi chuckled
"Mercury, we don't need to 'escape' right now. I've already lost those bad guys, now we just have to get you to the leaf village so Tsunade can take that seal off you."

"Thats not what I mean,Kakashi.I've signed it in blood.If I don't help them...They'll kill me and you."

"hmmm, perhaps I should take you back to him."

"I don't care what happens to me.I'm just a sand ninja.But,you,run.Run and find the hokage.Tell her that we need back up,okay?"

Kakashi sighed, taking a closer look at the seal on Mercury’s arm.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that. You have to stay here. The only way to break this is to kill Kazama. His allies will be watching the leaf village. We can’t go back, either of us. Mercury, I need you to meet me in the sand village in two hours. You must stay here and do not go outside for any reason until then, okay?” Kakshi laid a reassuring hand on Mercury’s shoulder.

“I’ll be fine, I really wasn’t hurt that bad. I’m 100%, and I will protect you, okay? In the meantime, stay here, and focus your chakra. Meditate, and focus on staying calm. Soon, you may start to feel urges that are not your own. You must resist them.”

With that, Kakashi left and headed back towards the sand village, right at the same time as Kazama, Kazemei and crystal retreated from the leaf village…

Ino helped Hinata up off the ground,"Are you ok?"

Hinata smiled as she nodded,"Yeah I am,thanks Ino."

"ENOUGH!"Kazama Roared,"We came because you were about to be killed or captured...partner."

"I would sooner die than be captured by any shinobi of the leaf village!" Kazemei sat down, resting but not taking his eyes of of Kazama. "And the more I spend time with you the more I think you don't care who dies as long as you get what you want."

Kazemei settled back, his long black hair obscuring his face.

"I must say I'm touched though, dear Kazama. Were it you singled out against two shinobi, or six as long as were considering those who showed up later, I would not have saved you."

Kazemei's Chakra slowly began to glow slightly around him as he concentrated on repairing the chakra veins that Neji broke.

"And If you were captured I would have found you and killed you so you wouldn't talk."

Finished healing, Kazemei stood up and cracked his knuckles, neck, and back, then stretched.

"But we're all fine, so no more in-fighting. Crysta's Plan against the Uzamaki kid still can go into effect, so long as she disguises herself when returning to the leaf village. But whatever we do, even if you don't agree with me"

Kazemei tilted his head, His eyes narrowed, and his expression grew serious.

"...Kazama...Do you want Orochimaru to find out from us that the plan has irrecovably changed, or from one of his cronies from the Sound village who Hate us??"

Crysta sat on a rock, completely bored, watching the two argue things over. She sighed and looked in the direction of the sand village. "Sooo......how am I going to be disguised?"

Kazemei got up and walked up to her.

"well, mostly it's the silvery ice themed get up. Just get rid of that, dye your hair and voila, off to seduce and poison stab assassinate whatever, that Naruto kid. I still don't see why he's a threat. I think that all he's got going for him is the nine tailed fox. And there are ways..."

Kazemei drew his wooden sword, got a rag and a small bottle of oil, and began to polish it.

"Of seperating the Kyuubi's Chakra from his."

Crysta looked stunned for a few seconds. "Dye....my.....hair........? I can easily find a new outfit, but do I have to....dye...my hair?" She frowned at the idea and pouted. "And separating the two chakras might be slightly difficult if Kyuubi decides he doesn't want to be seperated.... All well, I'll think of something!"  

"Well, I can't kill the Kyuubi anymore than naruto can control it. According to Sasuke, The nine tailed fox only helps Naruto when he's about to die, merely because the demon inside him is entirely uninterested in dying with him. I know how to interfere with that red chakra of his, keep him from using it...and without it," Kazemei admired his glimmering shiny white sword and put it away. "He's not even a third rate piece of crap ninja
But at any rate, he's all yours, you have dibs dear Crysta. But yes, you have to dye your hair."

Kazemei turned his attention to Kazama.

"What do you know about this Lee kid? His chakra was unlike anything I've ever seen before...It's like he himself is something altogether...different from a ninja. His power is ridiculous!"
Kazemei frowned, glancing sideways.
I'm the fastest Shinobi alive...I can't believe that...that Kid could surpass me....

Crysta pouted for a few minutes more until reluctantly nodding her head. "Very well, I shall dye my hair and change into more...... suitable clothes for this. Hmmmmm, I guess I will use a poison on the Kyuubi boy after all......now which one to use............." She muttered to herself as she got her things ready to leave, deciding what poison to use, what clothes to wear, things like that.

Kazama nodded slowly,"I noticed that he did not use any ninjutsu or genjutsu...while the others did. It was almost if he hiself was nable to use ninja abilites...do you agree, kazemei?"

"It's his chakra gates, they're completely open when he fights." Kazemei said.

"Well, I'm leaving to go fetch the brat for you guys. See ya!" Crysta waved and then raced away towards to leaf village....again.

In The Leaf Village

Hinata was behind a tree watching Naruto from a distance.

Lee tailed his prey down the dark alley. The strange figure then dissapeared into a covered doorway. He really hated these c ranked tailing missions but they were requested my the Madame hokage. He sighed then sat back waiting for his target to reamerge.

Hinata left and went to the Ramen shop.

A woman entered the village, her sort black hair sticking a little out of the hooded cloak she wore. She looked up to the sky and giggled, whispering to herself. "Watch out Kuubi; this Crysta will have you yet!" 

Naruto passed the ramen shop and saw Hinata sitting alone, eating. He scratched the back of his head, wondering if he should say hi. Then, realizing h was hungry, decided to sit down next to her anyway.

"Hey Hinata, fancy meeting you here. did you hear about that fight in the cemetary earlier? I heard Lee and shikimaru beat up a bunch of Akatsuki there, heh heh."

Naruto gasped a little under his breath, noticing the bandage peeking out over the color of Hinata's jacket.

"Are you okay, Hinata?

Crysta walked towards the ramen shop, secretly coating one of her kunai with a special poison created especially for the Kuubi boy. She entered the building and sat down two chairs away from Naruto and ordered the special of the day.

Hinata looked at Naruto,"Oh Hi Naruto,yes I'm fine."she said trying to hide the bandages.

Naruto frowned. Not sure what to say next he ordered a bowl of chicken ramen and sat eating it for a couple moments.
"Hey, hinata...How come you're so shy all the time?" he asked.

Hinata looked at Naruto,"What do you mean?"

Naruto scratched the back of his head, smiling a little.
"Well, you're always acting so sheepish and scared all the time...and Those bandages on your back...did something happen you don't want me to know about?"

Hinata shurged,"I got in a fight that's all."

Crysta finished her meal and sat back with a sigh of content. Then she looked over at Hinata and murmured "You don't look much like the fighting type...." in a soft voice. 

Naruto gaped at the strange girl.
"Hey hinata, who's she, a friend of yours?" naruto cocked his head to the side in confusion.
"Who cuts you hair??? it looks like someone colored all over it with a black marker then put it in a blender..."

Crysta blushed a deep red "Ummmm, well, I tried to cut it......and I'm obviously not good at it or at dying hair...." Crysta thought to herself for a moment. Damn this! Does my hair honestly look that bad? Ohhhhhhh, I wish I never had to cut it off....

Hinata looked at Crysta,"I don't know her Naruto."

"Huh..." Naruto smiled, thinking for a moment. after a couple seconds, naruto finally thought of something to say.
"Well, hey there! I'm Naruto Uzamaki, the next Hokage! Who are you?" Naruto extended a hand out to Crysta.

Crysta stared at Naruto's hand before taking it. "Nice to meet you Kuubi. My name is Crysta. Goodnight." A needle pricked Naruto's wrist from under Crysta's sleeve, one that was heavily coated with her specialized poison. Nobody, especially not Naruto, could stand against that poison.

Back outside the Sand Village

“Well, Now that she’s gone…” Kazemei trailed off and looked up as he put on a clean shirt.

“Sasuke, to what do we owe this visit?” Kazama said, just a moment before, out of the gloom of the early evening, Sasuke strolled into the camp.

“Kazama, my scouts report the Leaf village is arming and put on high alert. Why is that?” Sasuke’s emotionless serious face glared at Kazama.

“You would have to ask my…Partner Kazemei about that.” Kazama said simply.

Kazama sighed and slowly cracked his knuckles, not making eye contact with Sasuke.
“I have no excuses. Kakashi and Naruto are still alive and the entire village’s elite forces are aware of Kazama and I. Not our names, nor Orochimaru’s involvement at all, merely that there is a plot against them.”

Sasuke’s gaze returned to Kazama. “And why is Mercury not under your care?”

Kazama grinned slightly. “Oh but she is. Soon she will return to the leaf village with Kakashi. Once she is there, she will come under my direct control and kill him. Then she will return to me.”

Kazemei gaped. “You didn’t tell me you let her go on purpose?”

“I had to tie up that lose end you left us, Partner”

Kazemei growled.

Sasuke crossed his arms. “Once that happens you will use her to kill gaara. I understand Mercury and Gaara are old friends, and the Sand powers she has within her are a gift from him.”

“Gaara is not affiliated with the leaf village. Why do you want him dead?” Kazemei asked.

“Gaara is an enemy of the sound village and the akatsuki in general. He must die. Do not make me report any more Failures to Orochimaru.”

Sasuke turned to leave. At the edge of the camp, he stopped, unmoving.

Kazama stiffened slightly, the smile on his face completely gone.

Kazemei’s eyes shifted from Kazama to Sasuke then back, and his eyes widened.
“I don’t believe it!”

All three of the villainous ninjas leapt high in the air a split second before the camp, tents, supplies an all, exploded in a mushroom cloud plume of sand.

As Kazama continued to shoot up into the air he was plowed sideways by Kakashi.

As Kazama feel back towards the ground, he blocked the wild combo’s of punches and kicks from kakashi.

Sasuke held his place in the air for a moment, forming hand signs and shouting:
“Fire style Jutsu! Dragon Bomb Technique!” Sasuke fired a massive ball of flame equal to the size of the mass of sand that flowed up to follow the three conspirators, beating the sand back into the ground.

Kazmei dived back towards the ground in a terminal dive, having in mid air singled out in the dark the unique glowing yellow Chakra signature of Gaara of the sands.

With his blade drawn Kazemei repeated slashed at Gaara.

Gaara watched, motionless as Kazemei’s blade repeatedly passed inches from his face, slowed and stopped, pushed away and parried by Gaara’s ever moving and reforming sand wall.

Kazama immediately released his puppet, leaping back while whipping his chakra strings outwards.

Kazemei’s puppet clashed it’s enormous Katana against kakashi, who blocked with a Kunai in each hand.

Sasuke dropped to the ground, which despite being mostly drit and rocks and sand, was covered in unnatural chakra fueled fire. Sasuke was immediately met by two shadow clones of Kakashi, each of them sending out flurries of punches and kicks.

As several small clouds of sand as well as both doubles of Kakashi attacked Sasuke, sasuke leapt left and right, leaned and dodge each attack. Every last one missed, all seen before they happened in Sasuke’s Sharingan eyes.

Gaara's sand wall stopped blocking Kazemei's attacks and began to attack. Gaara watched without so much as blinking as enormous arms of sand flew out at the rapidly backpedeling Kazemei, each extention of sand crashing done upon a doubled image of Kazemei.

"Ah ha! it all makes sense now!" kakashi said to Kazama, his sharingan eye gleaming.
"Orochimaru will enevr know when to give up!"

Kazama laughed, firing nearly a hundred poison needles from his puppet. "Orochimaru? I have nothing to do with him. This is strictly personal!"

Kakashi moved backwards towards Gaara, and Kazemei attempted to move back towards Kazama.

But Gaara's sand began to grow ever larger, being fed by the desert around him. Gaara began forming walls between the three villainous ninja's, seperating them.

Now Gaara focused his attention on Kazama, who was forced to use his puppet to shield him from an intence wave of sand. Kazama growled as his puppet's paint and ornate detail on it's samurai armor like body begin to wear away into dust.

Kakashi met face to face with Sasuke.

"It's been a long time, Sasuke. Are you still letting this blood feud with your brother rule your life? You know Orochimaru is just going to kill you in the end!"

"SHUT UP!!!" Sasuke roared, leaping at Kakashi.

"All right then, LIGHTNING BLADE!" Kakashi shouted
"CHIDORI!!!!" Sasuke screamed, and the two met hed on.

After the two colided in mid air, Kakashi landed lightly on his feet, while Sasuke landed hard, rolling like a busted tire head over heels.

Not missing the oppurtunity, Gaara's sand swallowed Sasuke up.

Before Kakashi could recover his fighting stance Kazemei hacked through a wall of sand and came at him. Kakashi brought up a kunai to block and Kazemei slashed it right out of his hand and doubled Kakashi over with a hard uppercut punch to the stomach.

Gaara's face contorted, finally showing an emotion: Anger.,
"Uchiha Sasuke! I haven't forgotten you! I KNOW YOU"RE STILL ALIVE!"

A bubble of sand began to burst outward, the sound of Sasuke screaming in pain and exertion as he used his chakra to force the sand off him.

"I Have changed, Uchiha Sasuke! But I haven't forgot what it would be like TO TASTE YOUR BLOOD! SAND FUNERAL!" The Bubble of sand crushed inward on Sasuke and crashed into the ground.


"Another student I have failed. I really don't suppose I should continue teaching..it's like I'm jinxed to create the next great evil every time!" Kakashi and Kazemei exchanged another battle of slashes, mostly with kakashi relying on his sharingan to survive the blistering speed of kazemei's movements.

"Quit Making Excuses Kakashi, you didn't make me! I made myself into the fastest shinobi alive, and you decided your reputation was worth more than giving the leaf village it's new greatest champion!"
Kazemei became even faster, and kakashi cried out as three kunai he hadn't even seen kazemei throw stabbed into his left arm.

"YOU ARE TOO WEAK TO KILL ME GAARAAAAAAAAA!" the sand coffin Exploded in a falming rain of sand, revealing Sasuke, now Covered in ornate black tatoo like designs.

Gaara laughed hysterically "That technique again? You Cannot expect it to work now, when I have far surpassed myself since the time you last FAILED, UCHIHA SASUKE!"

Sasuke dived at Gaara, powering through sand barriers and attacks alike.

"Chidori!" sasuke shouted and plowed into gaara.

"Augh AHHH!" Gaara moaned as the lightning blade impaled him.

Sasuke pulled his fist out of Gaara's stomach, surprised to see Gaara crumble into a pile of sand.

Amazing, he used the sand to shield his juxtaposition jutsu...which means...

Sasuke scanned the the area with his level three sharingan, looking past the fire of his earlier attack and Gaara's sand which was beginning to fill the area like fog, searching for Gaara.

There you are!

Kazemei's Shiro Nasutto blade glowed brightly as Kazemei fed his chakra into the sacred wood of the weapon. Though the sand constantly surrounded him, the light of the weapon seemed to repel Gaara's sand like sunlight repels vampires.

Kakashi formed several handsigns "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" and Kakashi split into three.
"I'm afraid I must end this now, Jurai. I'm sorry you never learned the error of your ways!" The clones fanned out into a traingle around Kazemei.
"LIGHTNING STORM ATTACK!!" Kakashi and each of his clones shouted in unison, diving forward.

Kazemei met each Chidori, blocking all three at once with his sword.

"RRRRRAHHHHH!" kazemei shouted, feeding every last bit of his chakra into Shiro Nassuto, trying to stregthen it, but it was futile.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kakashi and his clone roared, an out of the cloudless sky an enormous blue lightning bolt crashed down on Kazemei, and the ground twenty yards around Kazemei impacted into a crater with the force of the explosion.

Sasuke came charging at Gaara, who now had assembled ten Sand clones of himself. Sasuke dodged three of them at once, kicking one of the clones head off in the middle of a backflip, then fireballing two more.

"YESSSSSSS! Don't you feel ALIVE, SASUKE???" Gaara sent ttentacle after tentacle of sand at sasuke, who continued to flip through the air, whirling out of the way of Gaara's attacks.

Kazemei skidded to a stop on his back. He pushed the puppet that saved his life, which was now just a smoldering torso, off his chest and flipped to his feet. He met eyes with Kazama, who gave Kazemei a nod.

Merc stayed in the cave and sighed."Why me?I was normal...Or as normal as I can get....Why won't Kazama just kill me...?And who does Kakashi think he is trying to protect me?!"

Kazama Growled and turned to face Gaara Once more,"Do not think i am defensless Garra."He said as he pulled a scrool out from his bag,"Forbidden Art: TEN PUPPETTS OF ASHAIGH! The castle destroyers."He shouted as ten pupets came into being around him,"Now we shall see."

As sasuke sent a whirling helicoptor kick into Gaara's remaining clones, he growled, beginning to glow a deep purple.

"No, he's mine!" Sasuku dived at gaara, smashing through sand wall after sandwall, getting closer to him.

Kazemei whirled, impaling one of Kakashi's clones then beheading the other. The real Kakashi dived in and kicked Kazemei, who backflipped backwards to recover his fall.

"No reason not to share in your death, UCHIHA SASUKE! HAHAHAHA SAND AVALANCHE!" Gaara sent an enourmous hulking wall of sand into Kazama's Ten Puppets.

Kazama laughed. "Impresseve but not enough!" Kazama, still holding over one hundred chakra strings within his fingers, formed several highly complex handsigns and the sand wall came closer and ccloser, beating his puppets backwards.

"Secret technique, THE SHADOW CASTLE OF ASIGH!"
Kazama's puppets stopped suddenly underneath the onslaught of sand and also themselves mirrored the handsigns Kazama made.

An enourmous mountainous Shadow, glowing brightly in a redish black. Gaara's Sand Avalanche became a short rain of sand, uncontroled, unmoving sand.

For the first time, the wild insane look in Gaara's eyes faded slightly, and the smile on his face flatened.

Kakashi leaped and landed in front of Kazemei.

"You took the bell seven years ago, Jurai. I was barely any older than you are now. I have enough chakra to bring forth the lightning storm again, now. Yield now, and do not interfere, or I'll be forced to kill you."

"Interfere?" Kazemei backed away, holding his sword in front of him like a shield.

Sasuke stood alongside Kazama. Gaara was now clearly visable in the growing moonlight, standing with a small pool of sand around him. The immense army of sand tentacles walls shields and waves he had summoned earlier were now gone.

Sasuke, nerver taking his eyes off Gaara, said:
"Kill Kakashi, gaara is mine."

"Don't be ridiculous, we'll take him together. It will be much simpler that way-"

"SHUT UP! Leave Gaara to me or I'll kill you first!"

Kazama blinked in surprise.
"Have it your way."


"I'm here to kill Kazama. You and I can fight later."

"No, we fight NOW!" Kazmei repeatetedly pressed his left fingers and thumb into his palm

"INNER SPEED JUTSU!" Kazemei shouted

"Ah, so thats how!" kakashi formed a slower set of handsigns with both hands
"Inner Speed Jutsu!"

HE COPIED ME?!

Kakashi dove at Kazemei at a speed that Sasuke would have had trouble seeing, clashing weapons and meeting kicks and punches.

Kazemei slashed at Kakashi at the same time as Kakashi, but now with the effect of kazemei's own jutsu, kakashi was faster.
Kakashi's hair bent back as kazemei's bokken slid just over his head, and Kakashi continued forward, ramming his kunai deep into kazemei's stomach.

"GAH!" Kazemei kikced kakashi off him and landed on the ground, immediately sinking to his knees.

Kakashi landed on his feet, breathing hard.
This jutsu, it's eating all my chakra! How could Kazemei ever sustain this for more than a few seconds???

Kakashi concentrated, letting his reflexes slow and his mind ease, ending the jutsu's effect before he let the jutsu drain all the chakra he had left.

Kazama left his puppets to maintain the castle of Asigh jutsu that kept Gaara's immense sand supply in check, running at Kakashi.

With a combo of intense punches, Kazama pushed kakashi back. With kakashi's sharingan reading his movements, each punch was blocked, but Kakashi had too little energy left to do much but defend.

Kazemei tried to get up, but immediately felt the flow of blood against his hand covering his stomach, and sagged back to the ground.

"damnit...just need to saty concious, a bit longer..." Kazemei reached out and picked up the shiro Nasutto, getting up slowly.

Sasuke ran towards Gaara forming handsigns.

"Fire style, Fireball Jutsu!" He blew his chakra outwards, completely surrounding Gaara in a ball of fire so hot it was more blue than yellow.

Surpisingly, Gaara himself leapt out of the ball, sand completely ablaze swirling around him. With a flick of his hand he threw a clout of flaming sand into Sasuke's eyes, then with his hand, now covered in sand to the point it looked like the hand of a giant statue, punched Sasuke in the face with a fist bigger than his head.

Garra kicked Sasuke again and again, standing on pillars that formed under his feet as he ran upwards, kicking sasuke higher into the air.

When they both were over a hundred feet in the air, Gaara brought his hands high, then swung them swiftly down, and a torrent of sand slammed Sasuke back down into the ground.

Merc got up and started running to the village,looking for Kakashi.

Kakashi finally saw an opening in Kazama's attack. He caught one of Kazama's kicks with his left hand wincing at the pain of the impast on his hurt arm, and spun Kazama sideways and kicked him in the face.

Kazemei desperatly fought the urge to cough with all the blood starting to fill his throat, knowing that if he did he could make his injuries worse. Slowly this time, He formed the handsigns for the inner speed jutsu.

Kakashi was just about to dash at Kazama, who was just getting to his feet, when he Saw Mercury running towards the fight.

"MERCURY, NO, STAY BACK!" Kakashi yelled.

In the momentary distraction Kazemei ran at kakashi with insane speed. As kakashi motioned to Mercury, Kazemei swung his sword, shouting

"Slash Of a Thousand Blades!"
Kazemei Slashed Kakashi across his back repeatedly, severing Chakra lines with each swipe.
Kakashi immediately fell to the ground.

Just barely standing, Kazemei raised his sword over Kakashi, who was struggling to get up but completely unable to.

"Die...Kakashi...sensei" Kazemei said.

Mercury's eyes widened.She ran twords them and tackled Kazemei away from Kakashi."YOU PROMISED YOU'D LET HIM LIVE!!LIARS!"

Kazemei hit the ground hard and his bokken bounced out of his hand and landed a few feet away.

"Mercury, I told you...to stay...away..." Kakashi tried to reach out to Mercury, but he still couldn't move.

Gaara jumped back down to the ground to try to finish off Sasuke, but noticed Mercury as she stood over Kakashi.
"Mercury? What are you doing here?"

Kazama, noticing he was for the moment outnumbered and severely low on chakra to face Gaara, decided to swing the momentum in his favor.

Pulling up his sleeve to reveal the blood seal on his arm that matched the seal he had made on Mercury's arm, he clenched his fist and yelled out to Mercury:
"Oh, isn't that your friend Gaara, Mercury? Go and tell him Hello!"
Kazama, focused hard, exerting his control on the blood seal. Now in control of Mercury's body, he forced her to get between himself and Gaara and to make her attack gaara.

Merc yelped as she was forced to attack Gaara."GAARA RUN!I don't wana hurt you!"She tried fighting the seal.

Sasuke got to his feet, rising out of the sand, now breathing hard as his purple chakre reformed around him.

Kazama flexed his muscles, straining, knowing he was running out of chakra sustaining the ten puppets and the shadow castle of Asaigh as well as controlling Mercury. Gaara wasn't long from breaking his shadow freezing jutsu that held most of Gaara's sand supply in check.

"Kill him, Mercury, open your sand jug and bring it all on Gaara!" Kazama shouted, pushing Mercury harder.

Sasuke growled.
"I told you to leave Gaara to me!"

Kazama frowned, straining to control three powerful jutsu's at once.
"I remember you telling me to do what I'm doing right now. And frankly, unless you want Gaara to pound you around again, I suggest taking a break!"

Sasuke walked between Gaara and Mercury, grabbed ahold of Mercury and in four swift fingerstrikes to her broken arm he broke the seal binding Kazama's chakra force to her and then backhander her across the face hard enough to knock her down.

"HEY! Sasuke...that was a mistake. I do not bow to you nor do I tolerate you hurting my property! You'll regret that!' Kazama let go of the castle of asiagh Jutsu and the full wrath of gaara's sand tidal waved at Sasuke.

Kazama Grabbed hold of Kazemei.

"Let's withdraw for now, wouldn't you agree?"

"Y-yes..." kazemei said

Merc quickly turned and tackled Kazama."HOW DARE YOU!"She slapped him.

Kazama moved with Mercury as she tackled him down then kicked her up and over him as he rolled back to his feet.
Sasuke alone with Gaara, can he really beat the Sand demon inside Gaara? Well, now if sasuke wants to be such an ass about it he can face the full brunt of Gaara's power alone!...Now to eliminate Kakashi

Kazama drew a kunai and prepared to stab the helpless Kakashi

As Kazemei kneeled, both arms wrapped around his stomach, he made once again the mistake of looking Kakashi in the eyes in the moment that Kazama began to bring the knife down to finish the Leaf shinobi.

I remember how you once were... Kazemei watched time slow beyond the limits of human perspective as Kakashi once more hijacked Kazemei's brain with the mind imrisoning jutsu, hearing Kakashi in his head.
When did you become such a beast? when did you let your ambition to be a hero warp into this drive to be a killer? It couldn't have just been me!

With the last of his will, Kazemei slashed out with Shiro Nasutto, aiming right for Kakashi's head.

Sasuke growled, knowing that he had already exceeded the chakra limitations for his first curse seal.
I don't want to use the second seal right now... I've already surrenedered too much control to Orochimaru to allow it just to satisfy gaara. I need this power for ITACHI, while I still have the option to use it... Sasuke barely contained his rage, knowing to use the second seal would be tactically foolish aginst Gaara. Surely he'd kill gaara, but more of his own will over his own body would be replaced by Orochimaru's. He knew staying with the akatasuki and Orochimaru put him in constant danger of losing his life, but he needed the power, all of it.

"You're not Worth it Gaara!!! Kazama, you and your useless friend should leave while you still have the chance. AND GAARA, I WILL KILL YOU, just not today!" With that, Sasuke sped away at his maximum speed, with Gaara screaming at him to come back and fight.

Kakashi's eyes widened, knowing he still was unable to move, with two blades coming straight for his head.
And so it ends...huh, never thought it'd be like this Kakashi didn't so much as blink.

To his surprise, Kazama's blade came right down onto the Shrio Nasutto, clanging off the wooden sword as if the bokken was made of metal.

"Kakashi-san!" Kazemei looked deep into Kakashi's eyes, able to resist the weakened Kakashi's jutsu.

"Oh what the hell! How come everyone has dibs on everyone? When did I miss the I get to kill this Guy and no one else party?" Kazama turned and as Mercury got up locked her momentarily in a weak version of shadow possession, it was all he could do to keep her still long enough for Kazemei to finish Kakashi.

"Do, It then, Kazemei!" Kazama said angrily, mad at watching his hand shake as he struggled to hold the fresh and furious Mercury.

Kazemei smiled through bloodstained lips. "It's the sword, Kakashi. To maintain it's power you must kill. Onigami, kanna's souls, their in here, their why i am faster than you'll ever be, the sword gives me all the chakra I need.."

In a last ditch attempt to stop kazemei, kakashi tried to lock the ronin's mind again with his Sharingan.

In his weakness, Kazemei faltered.
"No sensei, I can never be a Hero again, No changing sides..."

Kazama felt the last of his chakra slipping away and nearly screamed in outrage.

"Damn it, Kazemei!" He let go of Mercury and unfurled one more of his art of teleportation scrolls, Bringing himself and the wounded Kazemei to the only place the last scroll he had was amde to take them, the leaf Village."
